Have to be quick, the waitresses were fantastic, very friendly and helpful.  The Observatory is a great place to eat with open gas fires and and excellent ambience. I had a bottle of Pinot Grigot which was lovely and a special 3 course meal for 12 quid.

I had a prawn cocktail for starter which was very good if a little stingy on the prawns. V fresh salad and tangy to eat.

For main course I had a burger with chips and onion rings. What can I say, the chips were undercooked and the burger was very overcooked, as were the onion rings. The burger was with bacon and cheese apparently but the morsels purporting to be said pig and cow by-products hardly warranted a mention, except for their tinyness. Again, the salad was good.

Profiteroles and ice cream for pudding were good but the ice cream was melted as though it had been left out for quite a while before it was served to me.

Then the friendly waitress got the bill very wrong. What can I say, go for the place, not the food.

Cost after correction was £25 including the vino.
