Only person in the place, so got sat next to the toilet at the back. Nice aroma.
Ordered
Seaweed for starters and it came out promptly. One thing was a bit
unnerving, the sound of a microwave pinging away in the kitchen.
Seaweed was not salty nor sweet enough for me, but ok.
Ordered
fried noodles, egg fried rice and Chicken with lemon and honey. the
noodles and rice were slightly greasy but very tasty. The chicken was
fantastic. Extremely light, crunchy batter with a tangy sweet sauce
(not overpoweringly lemon as some can be). Chicken was slightly pink
but survived the weekend so must assume it was good.
For
desert I had the Toffee Apples. Great to see other items in restaurants
for desert other than Punky and his friends. This was so sticky and
cloying that I had trouble getting it down, but I struggled on and have
to say, it was extremeley tasty if very challenging (i have never eaten
anything that sticks to your teeth in that manner).
Free prawn crackers. Cost £20.00 with drinks
