It's ten years since I'd been here, back in the drunken mists of the Transco months so I was quite looking forward to it. I couldn't remember the formica tables but they were clean so no complaints.
A few of us have been to this restaurant and it seems to be a bit of a mixed bag. We ordered 4 nargis kebabs once and that completely threw the kitchen.
Pops and pickles are good.
They do a special balti menu which consists of pops, starter, balti and rice/bread for £9. Really good value. Be there before 8pm to qualify.
Try the medium naan, it's like a duvet. Enough for 2 or 3, easy.
The food is okay and the service is good. The old boy that runs this place is a character.
