Driven past this place a couple of times and was at a loose end so decided to give it a go. It's like entering a cave and quite dark inside. The obligatory family complete with grizzler was in there but fair play to them, their kids were perfectly behaved. Fantastic.
Anyway onto the food and stuff. The waiters were pleasant and relaxed and did all the right things.
The menu had bog standard stuff on it so I went for Nargis kebab (seems to be a local speciality) which is boiled egg wrapped in shami kebab and fried (I think). It is served with an omelette and salad. It was very good and better than the one at the Noor up the road.
Sorry Troyski, pops and pickles were good and fresh with the lime pickle replaced by a chilli pickle that had a big kick.
For main I went for chicken pathia with a side of onion bhaji and rice and naan.
The pathia was spicy but not as sour as normal but very tasty. Rice was good and the naan was great. The OBs were very good. Right up there with the best. I will get the lads to come along so we can try more dishes and get a better overall view.
Give it a try
Cost was £21.00 including two pints and a tip.
