Well, this is the best curry house in Hinckley so far. Its best asset is the quality of its food. This is very closely run by the maitre d'. He is nuts!!!!!!! You won't meet a nicer, friendlier, helpful guy in a restaurant anywhere. He also has lots of lovely badges. I have yet to find out why.
Every starter we have tried has been good. Particular favourites thus far have been the Panneer Puri ("Best starter ever" Humpo july 2007) and chicken tikka chat.
Again, the story is the same with the main courses. GP stated that the Garlic Chilli chicken was the best main course he'd ever had. Two superlatives for one restaurant is unheard of. Other very good mains have been the chicken dhansak, special mixed tandoori tawa and Sag chicken.
We have also always had a free veggie side dish with the meal. I don't know if this is standard or not. I know its a great touch.
Not the cheapest place but you will be hooked if you go. We will be going back many times
