Again arriving early as we do, we tend to get quick attention. Today
was exceptionally so – all food arrived very promptly, starting with
the obligatory pops and pickles, also supplied was a plate of salad.

We found the menus presented to us were rather sticky….this in itself
could put people off, but the staff seemed friendly, if a little deaf
at times.

"Chicken Punjabi please."

"Lamb or Chicken sir?"

"Errrr….Chicken?"

For starter I had the Aloo Tikka, very nice, mildy spicy deep friend
crisp outer shell. Eej had the Mushroom Pakori, which is reported as
"Nice, if a little small".

The Chicken Punjabi was tasty, not too spicy, but absolutely swimming
in ghee. I must start asking for ghee-free dishes. Eej duly reports his
Chicken Pathia to be of the usual standard, but with a promenance of
ginger….."Gingery" was the exact word.

Good price with rice, chapatis and drinks, and we were offered complimentary coffee.
