So, I went past this place a couple of Sundays back and it was empty. Went back to try it out last night (Sunday) and egain, empty. The warning bells should have started then but I was already in so give it a go I did. MISTAKE.

There is no parking obvious so I ramped up on the pavement outside.

The restaurant is long and thin and very empty. Near the far end is a bar and as far as I can tell laundry service. There was a bundle of old linen left on the floor. Not professional at all.

There were two waiters, one was quite pleasant and the other was basically a plague victim in black. I have never seen or heard anyone so ill except in the ICU ward at our local hospital. He must have coughed up a litre or two of phlegm whilst sat 2 yards from me in the three quarters of an hour I endured in there. Quite disgusting.

Right, the food. The pops and pickles were excellent. The four mini onion bhajis (about golf ball size) were too tightly squeezed and left a little acrid after taste but at least they were edible. The Keema and plain naans were again excellent. The chicken tikka pathia was good once I'd got used to the slightly overpowering sourness. It was good though.

The chef then decided to pop out and considering it looked like I was the only customer in two weeks, he was filthy. His once white coat was incredibly dirty. Not the greatest advert for cleanliness I have ever seen.

Roll on tomorrow to see if I've survived the germ-fest. That waiter has to be one of the most unpleasant people ever to be near to. I'm not risking ever going back.

£18 for pops, starters and main with 2 pints coke.
