Popped in for a quick curry after work. Good job as I was told my table was required at 7:30pm. The list of bookings was impressive which boded well. The waiters were plesant and very proficient. The table was clean and neat and the standard of linen and cutlery was high.

I ordered my standard fair, pops and pickles, onion bhajis, chicken pathia, plain naan and cauliflower bhaji.

Pops and pickles were good and fresh and the pickles were overflowing. Very good sizes indeed.

The onion bhajis were not brilliant, just adequate. They were too tightly packed as sometimes happens resulting in not quite crisp enough bhajis with doughy, soggy centres.

The chicken pathia was rubbish. Not enough heat, not enough sour, not enough sweet and not fruity at all. It tasted like a thick chicken curry. The good bit was the chicken itself which was fresh and bountiful.

The cauliflower bhaji on the other hand was excellent. The cauli was done just to the turn and the spices were delicious. Went very well with the Naan bread which again was excellent.

The loads of people going here would probably be better served at Tandoori Nite in Chichester Gate.

Cost £19.15 including 2 pints of diet coke.
