Took the good lady to this fine place not far from home. Been once before with Adam and liked it, so this second visit had an expectation to live up to. Wasn’t disappointed.

This is a cosy venue, nice for those intimate mid-week dinners. The staff are all friendly and relaxed. Maybe a little more light wouldn’t go amiss, but other than that it was good.

Mrs. Troyski had her usual pops/pickles/tikka masala/boiled rice/plain naan combo. And, despite her burgeoning cold, enjoyed it all. Will have to take her again when her taste buds return to get the confirmation, but I believe she was happy.

I had a tandoori chicken pathia, boiled rice and saag aloo. All of which were excellent. Portion sizes good, plenty of chicken, and the saag aloo went *really* well with the pathia, neutralising any excess lemon tartness. With a keema naan and a pint of Cobra I’m a very happy man.

So, at £32 for all that (and a diet coke), not too bad a price. Recommended.
