Time for a rare review of a non-Indian restaurant.
This place is next to the Premier Inn where I’ve been staying for my
current contract. It is affliated with the Premier Inn, and as such it
means residents can book a table there along with their rooms.
The ethos of this place is a wide variety of table settings, enabling you to choose the environment that suits you. This makes it ideal for family gatherings and billy-no-mates meals (like me).
The menu has plenty of variety from “bison” burger to salmon.

Food comes well presented, like the pumpkin soup above on it’s own carved wooden platter. The duck parcels were also faultless for me.
Flatbread with tomato and basil, enough to two, but I is greedy.

Bangers and Mash : A little flooded with gravy, but the pork and leek sausages definately tasted good.
Salmon Skewers : The salmon skewers were really good. It doesn’t look like much but with the rice it’ll fill you up. They were grilled and probably the “meatiest” fish I’ve ever had. Definately one to try again.
Pasta & Spicy Meatballs : On the specials menu this one. Big meaty balls (ahem) very nice, but not spicey in the slightest, some of the pasta was a little chewy.
Bison Burger : Had this twice now. Lean, meaty burger. A real filler. They season the chips with rosemary and such, a little too much the second time around.
Prices are reasonable and you can either find yourself a table and wait for service, or order at the bar if you find yourself unnoticed.
