You must change your keyboard configuration. CDE is not set up to
do this by default. There are two ways to set up keyboard switching:
Round-robin and direct.

Round-robin: Add these lines to your .dt/dtwmrc file in the “Keys DtKeyBindings” section:

Alt Ctrl<Key>Tab root|window|icon f.next_workspace
Alt Ctrl Shift<Key>Tab root|window|icon f.prev_workspace

This allows you to switch between workspaces using Alt-Ctrl-Tab to go forward, and Alt-Crtl-Shift-Tab to go backward in the list of workspaces.

Direct: Add these lines to your .dt/dtwmrc file in the “Keys DtKeyBindings” section:

<Key>F1 root|window|icon f.goto_workspace "ws0"
<Key>F2 root|window|icon f.goto_workspace "ws1"
<Key>F3 root|window|icon f.goto_workspace "ws2"
<Key>F4 root|window|icon f.goto_workspace "ws3"

This allows you to switch between the first four workspaces by pressing the F1 through F4 keys.

Note: dtwm will grab the keys first, and your application will be unable to use them! Only pick keys you will not need for your applications.
