The following can be used to temporarily change the priority of a running guest in z/VM.
As maint on z/VM
set share <guest> rel <value>
Where <guest> is the z/VM guest you want to change and <value> is a relative value.
e.g.
set share jdx13ad1 rel 1000
This value is lost if the guest is IPL’d and returns to whatever it’s default is.
