Jeff keeps telling me to come and try it, so I did, and it was shut. Don’t go on Mondays. They’re not open.
So I rescheduled for a Tuesday night and was early. They open at 6ish. I waited for them to open and was the first person in, apart from the couple who had already got a table and were already eating. Weird.
Had Jeff’s recommendation, Sui Mai and also Prawn dumplings (Har Kau I think). They came with a searing chilli oil that went really well. The Sui Mai was the best I’ve had, properly minced and not lumpy like others I’ve had recently. The prawn dumplings were good but not my thing. Bring on the bucketloads of Sui Mai.
I then went dull and had sweet and sour chicken which was great. I’m going again so will add more later. Give this place a go. I can’t see you being disappointed.
Cost under 20 quid for me including 2 pints and tip.
