If you boot a pSeries LPAR into the Open Firmware prompt there is some useful commands you can use:

This tool gives you information about SCSI,IDE,SATA,SAS,and USB devices attached to the system
 
Select a tool from the following
 
 1. SCSIINFO
 2. IDEINFO
 3. SATAINFO
 4. SASINFO
 5. USBINFO
 6. FCINFO
 7. VSCSIINFO
 
q - quit/exit
 
==> 6

Choosing Option 6 for example will bring up a submenu allowing you to choose FC adapters and list attached devices.
